David Erskine (rugby player)
David James Erskine, born 14 October 1969 in Waltham Forest, London,〔(Profile on ESPN Scrum )〕 is a former Irish international rugby union player. He played as a flanker and a lock for Sale Sharks in 1997-98,〔(Profile at Sale Sharks )〕 and in 2012 former Sale lock Dave Baldwin named him at blindside flanker in his Sale "dream team".〔(Dream Team: Dave Baldwin – former Sale lock ), ''The Rugby Paper'', 3 June 2012〕 He represented the Irish Exiles,〔David Coulter, ("Feidlim hit it off with tough game of rugby" ), ''Hexham Courant'', 20 February 2012〕 played once for the Ulster provincial team in the Heineken Cup in 1995,〔(Profile at Ulster Rugby )〕 and won three caps for Ireland, all in 1997.〔(Profile at Irish Rugby )〕
